We are also responsible for maintaining and supplementing knowledge, and for developing staff in the field of radioactive waste management.<\/p><p>Among other documents, ARAO draws up the following:<\/p><ul><li>Expert basis for a national program for the management of RW. The current is written in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pisrs.si\/Pis.web\/pregledPredpisa?id=RESO142\">Resoluciji o nacionalnem programu ravnanja z radioaktivnimi odpadki in izrabljenim jedrskim gorivom za obdobje 2023\u20132032<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li><li>In cooperation with SNSA we participate in report preparations\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/SL\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX:32011L0070\">po direktivi DS\u00a0 2011\/70\/Euratom<\/a>. Reports are prepared every 3 years.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/podatki.gov.si\/dataset\/porocila-evropski-komisiji-po-direktivi-o-varnem-ravnanju-z-radioaktivnimi-odpadki\">Prvo poro\u010dilo je bilo pripravljeno leta 2015, drugo 2018, tretje 2021 in \u010detrto 2024.<\/a><\/li><li class=\" translation-block\">We work with the SNSA to compile Annual reports on Radiation and Nuclear Safety in the Republic of Slovenia.<\/li><li class=\" translation-block\">The revisions of the Kr\u0161ko Nuclear Power Plant (Kr\u0161ko NPP) Decommissioning Program  and the Kr\u0161ko NPP Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Disposal Program that are periodically compiled jointly by Croatia and Slovenia under the provisions of Article 10 of the Treaty between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the regulation of status and other legal relations regarding investment in and the exploitation and decommissioning of Kr\u0161ko nuclear power plant (Intergovernmental Treaty, Official Gazette of the RS-international treaties, Nr. 23\/2003).<\/li><li>The program for the decommissioning of the Kr\u0161ko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK) and the Program for the disposal of radioactive waste and spent fuel), which in accordance with the requirements of Article 10\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pisrs.si\/Pis.web\/pregledPredpisa?id=ZAKO3411\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pogodbe med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Republike Hrva\u0161ke o ureditvi statusnih in drugih pravnih razmerij, povezanih z vlaganjem v NEK, njenim izkori\u0161\u010denjem in razgradnjo (Ur. l. RS 23\/2003)<\/a>\u00a0(interstate contract) is periodically prepared jointly by the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-3984f98 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"3984f98\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-e64c4de\" data-id=\"e64c4de\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6909141 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6909141\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><b>Revisions of the Kr\u0161ko NPP Decommissioning Program and the Kr\u0161ko NPP Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Disposal Program<\/b><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-815040a elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"815040a\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-fc1a018\" data-id=\"fc1a018\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6320723 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6320723\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Intergovernmental contract determines that the appointed expert organisations from Slovenia and Croatia at least every five years draft a Kr\u0161ko NPP Decommissioning Program and the Kr\u0161ko NPP Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Disposal Program.<\/p><p>Skladno z dolo\u010dbo meddr\u017eavne pogodbe je bila v letu 2004 izdelana in leta 2005 na 7. seji meddr\u017eavne komisije za spremljanje izvajanja meddr\u017eavne pogodbe potrjena prva revizija\u00a0Programa razgradnje NEK in odlaganja NSRAO in IJG (DP Rev.1). Z DP Rev.1, ki je bil izdelan kot samostojen dokument, ki je zdru\u017eil oba programa, sta se seznanila Vlada Republike Slovenije s sklepom \u0161t. 311-01\/2001-21 in Parlament Republike Hrva\u0161ke (Narodne novine, \u0161t. 175\/04), ki je dal predhodno soglasje k sprejetju.\u00a0<\/p><p>On the basis of the first revision of the Program for decommissioning of the NPP and disposal of LILW and SF, which determined the amount of the contribution for the decommissioning of the NPP and disposal of RW and IG, from April 2005 ELES GEN, d. o. o. (since July 2006\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gen-energija.si\/eng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GEN energija, d. o. o.<\/a>), pays\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sklad-nek.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">v Sklad \u00a0za financiranje razgradnje NEK in odlaganje radioaktivnih odpadkov iz NEK<\/a>\u00a0contribution in the amount of EUR 0.003\/kWh of electricity produced at the NEK and sold in Slovenia.<\/p><p>Na Hrva\u0161kem je bila 1. januarja 2023 sprejeta Uredba o vi\u0161ini, roku in na\u010dinu izpla\u010dila sredstev za financiranje razgradnje in odlaganja radioaktivnih odpadkov in izrabljenega jedrskega goriva Nuklearne elektrarne Kr\u0161ko (&#8221; Uradni list\u00ab, \u0161t. 156 \/22). Nova Uredba dolo\u010da, da je Hrvatska elektroprivreda d.d. dol\u017ena pla\u010dati znesek 9.760.000,00 EUR na ra\u010dun Sklada vsako \u010detrtletje v vi\u0161ini 2,44 mio EUR.\u00a0Nov pripsevek je bil dolo\u010den v skladu s Tretjo revizijo Programa razgradnje Nuklearne elektrarne Kr\u0161ko in Programom odlaganja radioaktivnih odpadkov in izrabljenega jedrskega goriva, potrjenim na seji Meddr\u017eavne komisije 14. julija 2020.<\/p><p>Preparation of the second revision of the Program of NPP Kr\u0161ko Decommissioning and SF&amp;LILW Disposal began after the 8th session of the Intergovernmental Commission in 2008, which charged the expert organisations ARAO from Slovenia and the Special Waste Agency (APO) in Croatia with preparing the document. The first version of the document was prepared in June 2010 and the second version in February 2011. The Intergovernmental Commission did not discuss or approve these documents.<\/p><p>The Intergovernmental Commission met again in July 2015 and was informed of the status of the preparation of the second revision of the Program of NPP Kr\u0161ko Decommissioning and SF&amp;LILW Disposal. At this session the Commission decided to halt all activities relating to the preparation of this document and to immediately proceed to the drafting of the third revision of the Kr\u0161ko NPP Decommissioning Program and third revision of the Kr\u0161ko NPP Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Disposal Program. The Intergovernmental Commission charged the expert organisations referred to in Article 10 of the Intergovernmental Treaty with drafting the terms of reference for the preparation of the revision of the Kr\u0161ko NPP Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Disposal Program in cooperation with Kr\u0161ko NPP. The expert organisations referred to in Article 10 of the Intergovernmental Treaty are also charged with drafting the terms of reference for the preparation of the revision of the Kr\u0161ko NPP Decommissioning Program in collaboration with Kr\u0161ko NPP. Pursuant to a decision of the Intergovernmental Commission, the contract signatories each authorised their expert organisations (ARAO from Slovenia and Fond NEK from Croatia) to prepare both programs in accordance with the Intergovernmental Contract.<\/p><p>At the 11th session of the Intergovernmental Commission in November 2017, it was decided that the two expert organisations, Slovenia\u2019s ARAO and Croatia\u2019s Fond NEK had, in cooperation with Kr\u0161ko NPP, prepared new coordinated terms of reference at the technical level for the decommissioning of Kr\u0161ko NPP and the disposal of radioactive waste from Kr\u0161ko NPP. The Intergovernmental Commission approved both sets of terms of reference and charged ARAO and Fond NEK with collaborating with Kr\u0161ko NPP on the drafting of a third revision of the Kr\u0161ko NPP Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Disposal Program. At the same time, it charged Kr\u0161ko NPP with drafting the third revision of the Kr\u0161ko NPP Decommissioning Program in collaboration with ARAO and Fond NEK.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">The Intergovernmental Commission was then apprised of the third revisions of both programs and their executive summaries at its 13th session in September 2019. It decided that both programs should be forwarded for further adoption procedures in Slovenia and Croatia.<\/p><p>On its 14th session in July 2020, Intergovernmental Commission adopted the third revision of the Programme for the Decommissioning of NEK and the Programme for the Disposal of RAW and SF from NEK.<\/p><p>In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia no. 306-106\/2021\/5 from January 2022, GEN energija, d.o.o., from 1\/1\/2022 pays into the Fund for financing the decommissioning of the Kr\u0161ko Nuclear Power Plant and the disposal of radioactive waste from the Kr\u0161ko Nuclear Power Plant an amount of EUR 12.0\/MWh.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>STROKOVNA PODPORA ZAINTERESIRANIM STRANEM Dr\u017eavnim in\u0161titucijam, ki delujejo na podro\u010dju uporabe jedrske energije in virov sevanja, zagotavljamo potrebne podatke, poro\u010damo in nudimo strokovno podporo za strate\u0161ke odlo\u010ditve in na\u010drtovanje dolgoro\u010dnega ravnanja z radioaktivnimi odpadki in izrabljenim gorivom.
