During the excavation, it is extremely important to pay attention to the pumping wells, which are arranged over the entire surface of the storage silo and serve to relieve pore pressures, i.e. pressures in pores filled with groundwater.<\/p>\n\n<p>The excavation of the silo also reveals and brings to light the work we have done in recent months, the extensive and demanding construction of the storage silo's retaining wall (diaphragm) that protects the silo
