Contract for construction and supply of a gantry lift and lifting equipment signed yesterday

Yesterday, October 10, 2024, ARAO signed a contract for the construction and supply of a gantry lift and lifting equipment as part of the construction of the low- and medium-level radioactive waste disposal site in Vrbina. It is the conclusion of the last of three important tenders as part of the construction of the disposal. The contract was concluded with the company Riko d.o.o. from Ljubljana, with the Spanish subcontractor Taim Weser. The value of the contract amounts to just under seven million euros. The planned delivery and installation is in 2027.

The first tender for the construction of infrastructure facilities was completed last year, the construction of infrastructure facilities was completed this year. The second tender for the construction of nuclear facilities was completed this spring .The construction is proceeding according to the planned timetable.
